Common questions

Does it work with my case?
Yes — every MagSafe case, guaranteed. Slim, rugged, leather, clear, folio. If your MagSafe case does not hold, send it back within 30 days and we cover the return shipping. Cases without MagSafe magnets will not hold on any magnetic mount, including this one.

Does it fit the Expedition MAX?
Yes. Every 5th generation Expedition MAX trim, same as the standard Expedition.

Will it fit my 2024 Expedition?
No. Your 2024 is a 4th generation Expedition, and the 2025 redesign changed the center console entirely. This mount is built for the 5th generation only.

Does it swivel?
No — and that is the point. A swivel is the first thing to loosen on a mount, and once it sags you are re-aiming it every drive. Fixed geometry means it points where it should and stays there. Need to hand the phone to someone? It lifts off the magnet in one hand. Faster than swiveling it anyway.

Can I use it without a charger?
No. The magnet is in the Apple MagSafe Charger, and the mount holds the charger in place. Without the charger installed, there is nothing for your phone to attach to.

Do I need to buy the Apple charger separately?
Only if you choose Mount Only and do not already own a 2nd Generation Apple MagSafe Charger. The Mount + Apple MagSafe Charger option includes a genuine one in the box.

Will it damage my interior?
No. Nothing is drilled and nothing is glued. It comes out as cleanly as it went in.
