The Wedge — Ford Expedition Cup Holder Fix for Oversized Yeti Cups

A simple product with complex geometry, solving a simple problem.

Most new generation 2025+ Ford Expedition owners already know: the dreaded vibration is a problem. Ours had three tires replaced trying to correct it. I used to be a Michelin fan. Now I'm just not sure. 

Born out of an annoying issue we ran into on our first road trip in our Expedition. We like to load up the oversized Yeti or Stanley cups and hit the road. What we found pretty quickly — the Expedition has massive cup holders, but our Yetis would shake. And shake a lot. We hoped it wasn't an issues coming back...

The Expedition Cupholder Wedge itself is a simple solution. Getting it tuned just right was the real challenge. As you can see from the iterations, this was a true Goldilocks situation. Too loose and you're back to the rattle. Too tight and the cup won't seat properly. It took several rounds to land exactly where it needed to be.
